Interview with Author N. K. David

         About the Author:
I was born on May 6th 1977 in the Eastern part of Nigeria which is regarded as the Christian part of the country. At an early age, I wanted to study law/arts but I ended up in science in which I came to love and I am currently in the medical field studying Veterinary medicine. I personally passed through a lot of struggle in my academic life because of a corrupt educational system. I had to stand and fight against the corrupt Educational system and I am glad some people in Government answered my call and worked to change the system. It was during the struggle and in my quest for answers from higher planes of existence that my first book was born and published to predict the end of the struggle and other message for humanity. Although I came from a Christian background but I have been unique right from childhood that people do not easily understand me, even his family, so I was seen as a nonconformist in terms of religion. This is because from an early age I saw the need for religious freedom and tolerance, equity, and justice for all. I said, “it is shame that humanity will be divided by their religion just as humanity was once divided by the color of their skin.”
I have written four books and my books have received attention and as such I have been interviewed by various people like my interviewed on 9th April 2012 by Indies in Motion in Hollywood California in association with Global voice broadcasting radio, a global radio station that features rising stars, http://www.indiesinmotion.com “IiM-internet Radio Featuring Independent Rising Stars.” The interview is available for free download online.
I write on many online sites like Hub pages where I have received an accolade as an engaging writer, http://www.hubpages.com/profile/davidkaluge, I also made the golden nugget honor on muttonline.com.

Interview Questions….

1.     What inspired you to become a writer?

I started writing back in college because of the challenge and need to do well in essay writing in school back then. After an early struggle, I realized that my failure then was because I did not use my creative ability so I set it to work and since then it has been working and I have been terrific. It was that early age that I created my first story “Noble killers” and I gave the story line to my young brother who was involved then in screenwriting to develop it. He wrote it in his own way but I later wrote it in my own way. And when he read mine, he said it is great and he loves my version/creativity. That was the first time I spent much time writing a long story and book.

       2.       When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

I realized that I better be a writer when I discovered that I do not usually talk too much but I can say more in writing couple with my intention to send a message to humanity.

  1. What genre(s) do you write? Why do you write the stories that you write?  I write mostly on inspirational, motivational, and emotional. But I also write on religion, mystery/occult, love, romance, and suspense. I know that I can write on any other genre as the works have shown. I write. I write my stories as a means of sending message to us. I also write to entertain/motivate my readers.

     4.       Where did the inspiration for your book come from?

It comes mostly from within and based on personal experiences and things that happen around us.

    5.   How long did it take you to put the story together?

Well, it depends on the story line and the time I gave to writing the story. For instance some can take me a month or two while others took more.

      6.       Can you share a little about your novel with us?
About the book, “The formula for reincarnation (the rebirth equation)” : After he discovered the formula for reincarnation (rebirth), he realized that it could be more dangerous than nuclear weapon so he decided to stop the research but some of his co-workers strongly wanted such powers and they could do anything to get it, even if it means to kill him for it. The only option he had was to stay alive even if he was dead because for as long as he was alive they will continue the plot to kill him and that maybe the only way he could protect his family, and the formula.  The formula was developed to help the profane to know that rebirth is real and it was developed based on various scientific formulas in which it was combined to achieved a trinity format, just like a pyramid and the last task in the development was to find the centre of the triangle and only the inventor knew the secret to finding that great centre.
About the book “My Game : The switch” : Hillary and Rhoda were known to be enemies in school and during one of their usual fracas he threatened her, openly, that he could have sex with her in public if he wanted while she threatened to teach him a lesson. It later happened that he had sex with her in public but it was at gun point so the question was who had planned it? Did he plan it to fulfill his threat or did she set him up to implicate him or was it a chance occurrence?  Is it possible to know the truth and solve the case? That was what a police Detective tried to solve but the more closely he thought he was to the truth the more he got confused by the facts he gathered. Then the Detective realized that it could cost him his job and his family to find out the truth. He was willing to give up his job for it but he didn’t know if he was ready to give up his family which he loved and cherished.

7.  Who is your favorite charter in your novel and why?

Well it is a difficult one but I pick Lydia in my novel “Most perfect exchange: the cost of liberty” because of how she kept Michael in their family company even when her brother, William, did not approve his employment.
