Book Description:

"A chain of advertising agencies, a new breed of humans, and a fallen angel to worship…

Andel Talistokov is known for his slick advertising agencies across the globe. He is a fallen angel that uses advertising as a weapon for Satan's work. His growing power emboldens him to break several of Hell’s Commandments. Furious with his arrogance, Satan commands him to return to Hell after finding his own replacement. Yezidism, an ancient angel worshiping religion, quietly expands throughout the West. Armaros appears as a guest of honor during their ceremonies. He mates with young women to produce nephilim, a mixed race of humans and angels. They are alone and unprepared for their supernatural power. Joanna Easterhouse, a recovering drug addict, steps out of prison shortly after her mother's fatal accident. She and her sister, Kim, unravel their mother's secretive past. Intrigued, they learn their bloodline is part of a celestial legacy. Both worlds collide. Halo of the Damned is a horrifying tale that weaves research together with suspenseful twists and turns."

Excerpt:

Andel Talistokov watched Marcus, his assistant (among other titles) scrub his office cleaner than an ICU room. He carried
Catalina’s fresh head into the custom-made panic room he had built before occupying the building.
The room was twenty feet below the basement, and he and Marcus were the only ones who knew about it. Inside the room were a toilet, table, and kitchenette equipped with basic appliances.
The refrigerator acted as a personal trophy case, displaying an array of severed heads from previous victims. He enjoyed looking at them. There were currently three other heads in the freezer. Andel bagged them up to make room for Catalina’s head.
He didn’t want her face to compete with his other victims. She was special. She was his daughter.

Interview Questions….

    1.       What inspired you to become a writer?

Always wanted to do it.  Once I was laid off, thought I’d give it a try.

    2.       When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

Always thought I’d try it, but not until two years ago did I ever sit down and write.

    3.       What genre(s) do you write? Why do you write the stories that you write?

I like horror, thrillers, biographies, and “tell-all” books.  So far I have written a thriller novel and a horror novel.

   4.       Where did the inspiration for your book come from?

Persian War when Saddam Hussein justified killing the Kurds because they were ‘devil worshipers.’  Of course they weren’t, at least most of them weren’t, but there was this tiny sect-the Yezidis.

  5.    How long did it take you to put the story together?

    4-5 months.

   6.       Can you share a little about your novel with us?
As Andel waited for his servant and slave, Marcus, to come and clean up his sinister mess, he noticed blood all over his Armani suit. He licked the sides of his face, still savoring the taste. The Turkish rug that lay under his daughter’s corpse was also ruined.  Unlike the suit, the rug was irreplaceable. He remembered when an Iman had given it to him hundreds of years ago. It was priceless, and now he had to part with it.
He looked at the decapitated, beautiful head one last time and remembered what a true bitch she turned out to be.  His intercom buzzed. “Come into my office,” he hissed, as he remotely let Marcus inside.

“You called, Master?” he obediently asked, as he stepped into his office, looking at the floor. He zeroed in on the remnants of the cadaver. Pieces of flesh, bone, and organs were chewed up and stringy. This was not the first time he had cleaned up Andel’s mess.

“May I ask what she did that brought your wrath upon her?”

“I’m downsizing,” Andel smirked.

   7.       Who is your favorite charter in your novel and why?

I like Andel Talistokov aka Armaros.  He’s a fascinating character-he betrayed God and now wants to betray Satan.

   8.       Now that your book is getting ready to hit the stores describe how you feel in one sentence?

       Love it!

   9.       What has surprised you the most about the whole processes of getting your book on the market?

How much is put on the author in terms of marketing.

   10.    Would you like to share what the reviewers are saying about your book?

Yes, I would.  Very proud to say that reviewers who like horror love Halo of the Damned.  Out of almost thirty reviews from unpaid strangers, I have a 4.3 average going for me.  One of my reviewers asked me to be a guest on this radio show-very thrilling moment.

   11.    How many books have you written?

Halo of the Damned, Be Paranoid Be Prepared (Short), The Last Degree

   12.    What are you working on next?

The sequel to Halo of the Damned

   13.    What do you like to do for fun when you’re not writing?

I love to walk my dogs and play tennis.

   14.    How can readers contact you?

    My website is: dinarae

   15.     When does your book go on sale and where can we buy it?

   16.    Last but not least is there anything that you would like to add?
