About the Author:
“Have you ever started reading a book and have it make you smile from page one? Well One Bite To Passion did that for me. I found myself grinning as I read this story and blushing when asked what I was reading. I was able to identify with the main protagonist Paige right off and loved how her character was so real and level headed. She is an intelligent woman who finds herself in a very out of character situation having been dragged along by her friend, Rosa, to a night of dancing and play setting in motion the dynamics of this story. One Bite To Passion is most definitely an adult read and is full of steamy, tasteful, and well written bits of passion. I enjoyed the mental byplay that Paige goes through on this journey. She meets a man - oh yes a younger man, who treats her like the jewel of a woman she is. She is married, although has been separated from her husband for work for about six months, and struggles with the moral dilemma of being attracted to Casey, while continuing to harbor old hurts from her husband's having had a previous affair. The paranormal aspect of this short novella is not obvious from the beginning of the story, although there are hints that something different is going on, and this is not fully revealed until almost the end of the story. I personally would have liked to have more of the paranormal element fleshed out more, but then again this is a short story and I am a greedy reader who enjoys immersion into a new world. I do not know if there is more to come from these characters, but I can see this being read as a prequel to a series or just a sweet short bit of erotica. However, my vote would be for this to be a prequel as I can see the world unfolding with new adventures on the next page! I would recommend One Bite To Passion to anyone who enjoys a short bit of tasteful erotica with a bit of a paranormal twist.
This book was given to me by the author requesting my honest opinion and I have received no remuneration other than the pleasure of reading a new story.

Interview:
1.
What
inspired you to become a writer?
Reading other peoples stories was an
inspiration for me to become a writer. Reading always sparks my imagination.
2.
When
did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
As far back as I can remember as a kid, I
have always been interested in writing but never had the confidence to try to
get published until last year.
3.
What
genre(s) do you write? Why do you write the stories that you write?
I originally started out writing
contemporary romance. A friend of mine read one of my stories and recommended I
write something for a werewolf short story contest. I have always read
paranormal romances, so I figured I would give it a shot and No Remorse was
created.
Writing paranormal romance is easy since I
have a pretty active imagination and I can be as creative as I like. I ventured
into paranormal erotica romance for my second story.
4.
Where
did the inspiration for your book come from?
One Bite To Passion was inspired by a three
month trip I took to Japan. Working with the military and traveling I get to
meet all kinds of people and see many places.
5.
How
long did it take you to put the story together?
I was surprised that writing One Bite To
Passion came so easily, all in all, it me 2 days to write the actual story,
around 16 hours. With beta reading, editing and re-writing that added another 4
days. I submitted the manuscript to Sascha at Sizzler Editions and he responded
with a contract offer the very next day. Sascha spent 2 days editing for
passive and active voice which took me about 3 hours to make corrections and
the story was complete.
Total time physically spent on this story
was approximately 8 days. This does not take into account everyone’s schedule.
So… from start to finish it took nearly 2 months to get the story published.
6. Can you share a little about your novel
with us?
One Bite To Passion is about a married
woman who is on a business trip to Japan. Her husband, Dalton, had an ongoing
affair that lasted for two years. Paige forgave him and they worked through the
issues and moved on. However, Paige always suspected that the affair still
continued. Frustrated, Paige allows her
friend Rosa to talk her into going out for a night of fun and she meets Casey.
He is younger than her and they are immediately attracted to one another. Paige
can’t resist his charms and ends up having a night of hot sex. She is torn with
what she has done, but also feels like a new woman.
Suddenly, Dalton shows up and all hell
breaks loose. Paige finds out that Dalton has been leading another life and she
is drawn into a world she never knew existed and into the middle of a coven
war. She is named the Chosen One. To save her life, Casey will sacrifice his
own. Paige must decide if she is willing to fight for the vampire she has grown
to love.
7.
Who
is your favorite charter in your novel and why?
Paige is my favorite character. She is
real, has real life issues and is not the perfect woman. She must make
decisions that are life altering and she is not perfect.
8.
Now
that your book is getting ready to hit the stores describe how you feel in one
sentence?
My head is spinning and I am very excited
that people are actually requesting more stories.
9.
What
has surprised you the most about the whole processes of getting your book on
the market?
The biggest surprise is the how much time
is required to market the books. When I started out trying to get published, I
had the grandiose idea that all I had to do was write my stories and the
publisher would do the rest. Boy was I
wrong!

Excerpt:
His
tongue licked gently across her lips and she sighed, leaning into him, allowing
him access. She threw caution to the wind and went with it, her tongue met his
tentatively. Like she did, he tasted of wine and beer. Warnings bounced around
in her head, telling her this was not supposed to be happening. But she was
sick of being uptight. Tired of always doing just the right thing, constantly
worrying about what would happen if…
With
her arms to her side, Casey pulled her to him. One hand going to her waist, the
other lifted and his big hand cupped the side of her face tenderly. Her arms
lifted and her hands came to rest on his shoulders. She had to do it now. Push
away or she wouldn't be able to. She fought with her emotions while his tongue
fought to go deeper into her mouth.
She
relented, giving in to the heat of the moment. Her hands snaked up around his
neck, the other into his soft hair. She pulled him closer and kissed him back.
She
heard Rosa giggle but was too engrossed in the
lips and tongue devouring her to pay any real attention. Paige heard the rustle
of clothing and thought vaguely that Rosa was
allowing Tadd to remove her shirt. She had never done anything like this
before, not with another couple in the room. The thought terrified her, yet it
also turned her on even more. Groaning, she deepened the kiss and pressed
herself against Casey's muscular chest. It felt good to be held in strong arms.
The
room was hot; the windows were open to let in the evening air. The fans
circulating thick humid air did nothing to cool the heat of bodies in the room.
The military base didn't have air conditioning in any of the buildings accept
for commanders quarters and offices. The barracks and lodging buildings were
supplied with oscillating fans. But none of that mattered. Paige wanted to feel
him holding her, his skin touching her, him inside of her. She broke the kiss
and buried her face in Casey's shoulder, trying to catch her breath and make
sense of what she was doing.
When
she looked up, Rosa and Tadd were going at it hot and heavy on the couch. His
pants were unbuttoned and pulled down far enough that Paige could see the top
of his ass cheeks. Hips rocked back and forth against Rosa
while she ground against him.
Casey
saw her look over and he glanced too then gave her a lopsided grin. He slowly
leaned forward, giving her time to either move away or meet him half way.
Oh,
what the hell, she met him half way and this time, the kiss was slower. His
tongue delved into her mouth and licked at her in slow sensual moves that had
her wanting to straddle him like Rosa had
straddled Tadd. The rustle of clothing sounded again.
Paige
heard Rosa and Tadd getting up from the couch.
Rosa met her eyes over Tadd's shoulder
and winked. Turning around, her back to Tadd, she grabbed his hands and placed
them on her breasts. He was eager to oblige and began to massage her bared
perky mounds, pinching at her dark rose colored erect nipples.
